The Bird School – Clicker Training for Parrots and Other Birds by Ann Castro

This book is excellent.

I bought it to learn how to clicker train my parrotlets Oscar and Maya… and this book tells you everything you need to know.

Not only that, but it also talks about bird behavior and how to approach it. I have learned a lot of what to do and what not to do when handling my birds.

All in all, it’s very helpful and useful on many occasions and I often find myself going back to look something up.

I highly recommend it to anybody who wants to learn to clicker train their bird.
Even if you aren’t interested in clicker training, this book teaches a lot about bird behavior and how to properly address good/bad behaviors.
