No, you absolutely cannot breed any type of lineolated parakeet with a regular parakeet. They are two entirely different species and cannot be inter-bred.

Hi it has been a while since i owned a Bourke Parakeet. I am a huge animal lover, but my focus if on my parakeets. I a question tho, that i can’t seem to find a answer for. I have bought a rosy bouke keet and a english keet that were in together. They seem to be close and get along great. I had bought a male english keet for the female english keet thats in with the bourke. For some odd reason, i had never in my life seen this happen, but the female thats in with the rosy bourke started fighting with the male keet i just bought. I introduced them and then this happened. I stuck him in with my other english keets in the middle room and there he is fine and doesn’t get picked on. A rosy bourke and a english budgie are close. Can they actually be a pair or whats going on with them? I raised alot of birds but only once before had a blue bourke but it has been a while.

I suggest going to the Linnie Forum and asking your question there in the breeding section. A breeder of linnies would be more then willing to help answer any questions you have
